West Florida Tactical Arms specializes in Concealed Carry (CCW) Training, Personal Protection Courses, Tactical Training & Home Protection. Our courses include:

Concealed Carry (CCW) Certification Course

This is the class you need in order to get a Florida Concealed Carry (CCW) Permit. This training is accepted in all 50 states, should you want to get CCW permit in another state and 35 states give reciprocity to Florida CCW permit holders. Our Concealed Carry (CCW) Certification Course starts with about 2 hours of classroom training, then we go to the range, and we do not quit until you feel comfortable on your own. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Training that you will copy and turn in for your Concealed Carry (CCW) Permit

One-On-One Concealed Carry (CCW) Training

For those who prefer a more personalized experience. West Florida Tactical Arms offers one-on-one training for $75/hour. The package includes 2 hours of instructor training and as much time at the range as needed. We can provide a firearm for an $8 cleaning and wear charge, and ammunition at a very reasonable price. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Training that you will copy and turn in for your Concealed Carry (CCW) Permit

Home Defense Course

This class will make you aware of your home surroundings and teach you how to use them to evade and escape a confrontation or, as a last resort, how and when to use a firearm in your home. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a certificate you can use when applying for a Concealed Carry (CCW) Permit. We also offer Home Inspections to assess vulnerabilities in what should be a place of peace and safety. Our Home Inspections generally take about 2 hours and they’re followed up with a written report. The cost for this inspection is $125 - and it’s worth every penny.

Refresher Courses

Refresher Courses are available upon request. Refresher Courses are separate from other courses, and they are individually designed to meet your particular needs. We can re-certify you and have you on your way with a certificate in about an hour. We charge $75, plus range fees, and you should bring the firearm you want to re-certify, or we can supply a firearm for just $8.
